Morgan Ensberg homered for the 6th consecutive game last night in a 3-2 victory of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Ensberg continued his torrid start along with the Astros as they improve to a Central Division leading 11-5. Brad Lidge picked up his 6th save in 6 attempts to help improve Wandy Rodriguez to 3-0 on the year.

I joined a late fantasy league which had its draft last week. I knew that Ensberg had started hot, so I decided to show my man some love and nabbed him with my second pick (my first was Big Papi). Needless to say, I'm lovin him not only for racking up the points, but for helping the 'stros to one of their best starts in years.

The young Tyler Bucholz will be making his second career start this evening against the Pirates' Snell. Hopefully he can score his first win of his young career.

I got Ensberg for $1 near the end of the draft... talk about a STEAL.

We mentioned your blog on today's podcast, FYI... I'm lovin' it...

Did you get a load of Umpire Rick Reed's "dance" around Wandy early in the game? That had to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen an umpire do...

I wasn't able to see the game live, but I did catch the "ump macarena" on Sportscenter. They really need to put the umps through ballet school like they do with NFL linemen to increase flexibility and gracefullness. I just hope they don't sign him up for next season's "Dancing With the Stars".
