Ever wanted to become a general manager of your favorite team? This game lets you do it. Trade players, spend money to get the best free agents, manage your lineup - you do it all.

An awesome game. A new version comes out every year with great new updates. Addicting game that is exciting.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Check it out -

Both the download/CD version and the online game are amazing. Very short learning curve too. If you play the CD version and want an even better challenge it's there in the online version. Online you play against up to 30 other real people. The CD is also a great introduction to the online game. Baseball mogul is also nearly endlessly customizable with everything from rosters and graphics to financial and stadium adjustments. There is really too much to list. It also has an amazing online community of players of both versions. The message boards at the website are full of info and players who are very quick to help you out in any way they can. The creators of the game are always around the boards and often respond to questions and gripes directly. Get it, I don't think you'll be disappointed with this product.

Kept playing this game long after other games (Half-Life 2, Far Cry, Tiger Woods, others) came into my life and left. Been part of the franchise since 1999 and every year gets better then the one before it.

I've played the serious since the beginning (1998 or mayber 1999). If you're a real-life fan of baseball, always wanted to be the GM of your own team, into the stats, and more concerned about gameplay and ease of accessibility over fancy graphics and so much depth that you need to quit your full-time job just to play 1 season, this is the game for you! It will take you 10 minutes to learn this game if you are already familiar with Major League Baseball, and probably a lifetime to master at the hardest levels (trying taking the Kansas City Royals to the World Serious on the hardest difficulty level!). Plus you can effectively manage and play a whole season in under 30 minutes - great fo sneaking in a season here and there!

Now if you are a "reflex" junkie this game isn't for you. Also, if you have to control every pitch of every game, this game isn't for you either. ut if you are a budding Brian Cashman or Theo Epstein and want to carve out a dynasty that will last for decades (yes, you can play for over 100 years in this game!), than Baseball Mogul is for you!
